Adelman "Dragon's" sister Ch Glendhenmere's Dandelion Days OFA H&El won the Conditional Class at the 2000 German Shepherd Dog Club of America National Specialty handled by Elizabeth Stiefferman, the youngest handler to ever win a class at a GS National Specialty. "Dragon" was sold as a young dog to a police officer who trained him for street work. When he no longer needed him, he returned him to me. I retrained him as a Schutzhund dog and handled him to his International conformation Championship. I was going to show him in Schutzhund, but illness kept me from doing so for several years. I sent him out with a handler for a short period of time and she put 8 AKC Championship points on him. When I got back to working with him I put his obedience CD title on him in three shows and trained him in agility. Again, other things got in the way and I did not title him in agility. He has produced two lovely litters and is a great demo dog as well as a super protection dog with incredible discriminatory abilities. |
